The movie mode feature allows you to shoot movies in 320×216, 640×424 or 1280×720 pixels. The high HD quality is actually better than most camcorders.

Some cons are that the live view mode is a little slow, but it is a nice bonus, and the stock lens is somewhat thick and exposed. You definitely need to use the lens cap to avoid scratching.
